impatience... not quit my middle name, but close!

Hey, so it might just be me, but i am SUPER EXCITED FOR NEW YEARS EVE! Honestly, i am kinda  a Scrouge around Christmas. I think the whole spirit of Christmas has been lost and that the entire reason for it is not celebrated correctly. i don't feel it should be all about gifts (although i LOVE getting them and giving them) but i think it should be about Jesus, not Santa. That's a whole different tangent for a different time. Instead, i am here to discuss how freaking excited i am for New Year's Eve...

This one magical night a year allows dreamers like to fantasize about all the things that can/will happen in the next year and to forget all the bad, but remember the good that has happened in the past year. Also it is a time to start over, feel fresh (like a nice long, good shower) and do something to improve your life. Although i will probably be traveling on New Years, i intend to do something to start it off with a bang, not sure what though. First, here are the two main reason i am super pumped for New Years Eve...

1. This will be my first year EVER getting a New Years Kiss, and it is with the only person i will ever kiss for the rest of my life... pretty exciting.

2. 2011 is set to be most likely the best year of my life... and for once i am not exagerating.

Now it is time for the reasons 2011 will be FABULOUS...

1. I am (God willing) more than likely going to be an AUNT! although this might come sooner, or it might come later, i am convinced it is coming.... and 2011 is the year i will get to spend time enjoying my little niece or nephew! Plus, nothing could be more exciting than watching my sister and brother (in-law) become parents!

2. I AM GRADUATING COLLEGE! Yikes i am so pumped you have NO IDEA! I am also very proud of myself, something that i don't get to feel too often. honestly, i can't stand school or tests, and i will officially be done. I feel like this is my passage into the real world and i am super pumped to be out and about. Also, i am kinda sick of the broke college student aspect, and would like to start paying off my debt.

3. I am going to get a job. I say this as a statement, because it is not for certain, but i am going to do everything in my power to ensure that this happens. When i put my mind to something the rest of the world better step out of my way or they will be mowed over.

4. (this is actualy my #1 reason, but it's hopefully the 4th of these to occur in the time line of life) THE SCHMITT-ROBSON WEDDING! biggest event of the year, get ready, it's gonna be good!

So, there are only 4 things, but they are the 4 of the biggest things that happen in a person's life, and i get to experiecne them all in one year... pretty amazing. This is the perfect set-up for an impatient person like me, because every couple of months something new and exciting will happen.


BTW- i had an awesome Thanksgiving break, i am super pumped to be done with school for a month, and i officially and the unluckiest Wii Mario Party player in the history of  Wii Mario Party Playing...
