Lamenting about 2011 and dreaming of 2012

Like the rest of the world i have already (since 6am) been thinking about the amazing year that 2011 has been and pondering what 2012 could possibly have in store!

2011 was an amazing and eventful year. If you wanna remember all the good times that is why you can reread old blogs. Today i have been trying to figured out WHAT made this such a good year. Originally i thought it was the events, graduation, adoption, MARRIAGE! but then i realized that it isn't the events that make a year good, it's the growth. This year there were some bad parts along with the good. However i was able to overcome the bad, grow and learn, and really cherish the good. that is something i have struggled with my whole life. It feels so good to finally achieve that.

Also, this year has shown me more than ever how truly blessed i am to have the family that i have. By family i mean the family that Kel and I have created (more on that later) but also my mom, dad, 3 sisters, 1 brother (in-law), a niece and a puppy-nephew! This year my family has grown in so many ways. We are actually larger by 1 boy, 1 girl, and 1 tbd boy or girl :)! We also have all grown closer, at least according to me. My family is awesome and i love each and every one of them to pieces. i have learned more in the past year about how truly blessed i am because i family like mine is the rarest type!

Finally, if you didn't get the hints throughout... I am looking forward to 2012 for so many reasons, but there's one REALLY BIG ONE that keep me on my toes! Kel and i are expecting our first child, Aug. 17th, 2012. While i thought 2011 was a whirlwind i am in for some big SHOCKS! We are REALLY excited about this and can not wait to see what is in store as we become parents. We did not expect this to happen this quickly (at all) but we are thrilled that it did.

I know not a whole lot of people read my blog, but i also know that everyone who reads it is really not interested in the wonders of being pregnant. In this matter i am DYING to post about what i have been going through with my pregnancy so far in the hopes to get some good advice. It is very weird for me to be the first in my family since my mom and the first in my group of friends to do ANYTHING, and i am DYING for people who have been through this and their hints and help! So i have created a BLOG for anyone who wants to read about how my pregnancy is going. This way it is each person's choice if they want to read my baby obsession or not!
