Nothing a good meal and some ice cream can't fix!

As everyone knows (and i have whined about incessantly) two years and a half ago i had an accident that has literally altered my life. I have spent the past two years rehabilitating, loosing the weight i gained, and working on getting back to the athletic person i was.

On that note, last week and this week and the next two weeks i have picked up a job refereeing 4th and 5th grade girls basketball. It gives me just enough extra money to financially pick myself up. Last week i realized 5 hours of constant stop and go running  was exhausting and my legs were done for. however, no negative pain, so i was thinking this would be a good things. However this week the whole time was severe negative pain in my shins and stabbing pain in my calves. throw in too small shoes and swollen ankles and i was cranky and miserable. So kel was a few minutes late picking me up, and that "always" make me better!

So i came home to find Kel had invented a delicious meal, dessert and all. it was ready to go and i didn't have to lift a finger. It was amazing to know that Kel was so willing to do everything to make me relax. I have been working hard and there's never enough money to go around, so i have been picking up extra babysitting jobs every Friday and Saturday night, as well as the basketball gig, extra hours at work every possible free moment. All while maintaining my school work (got at A on one test and a B on another and a B on the third, pretty pumped). I am exhausted and the fact that Kel made me and AMAZING DELICIOUS dinner (low price), invented a new recipe, bought me ice cream with the $2 he had, and let me sit down and relax.

My love tank is full and i am blessed to have a fiance who acknowledges my hard work and cares for me more than anything else in the world.

While i am bragging about Kel, here is another story. Yesterday i was at work and called kel to tell him i would be babysitting last minute. I found out that he had (with no car or means of transportation, how this happened i will never know) gone all the way across town to clean and care for one of my friends who was sick!

So reassured to know that i will be taken care of forever!
