Married life is great! Kel and i have done a lot and learned a lot about each other since Saturday, and it hasn't even been a whole week. I know that this is not what married life will always be like, and that there will be hard times, but i am determined to enjoy the "honeymoon" phase as long as possible! However, my name will be changing but my blog name will not! Kel and i have talked, and of course i will always be a Schmitt girl and therefore my life will always be "a little bit schmitty!" My new name is Robson, but i am still Sara and therefore i am keeping my blog name the same!
Since Saturday Kel and i have taken 3 days off to enjoy a "honeymoon" but we didn't go anywhere. instead we stayed home and got everything done that we needed to and i do not know how long we would have been burried in stressful work if we hadn't taken this time to do things. We got all of gifts put away and organized (which took a lot of efforts because we got more things than we could fit in our townhouse/kitchen! but with some creative engineering it all fits PERFECTLY and is all easily accessible and categorized... I'm pretty proud!) We also go things returned and purchased what was needed (vacuum, cleaning supplies, and a snow shovel-woohoo) at all the stores we had gifts cards. I think Bed, Bath and Beyond, Sears, and Target cringe when they see Kel and I coming!
We ate out, which is HUGE for us because we don't have money to spend therefore we rarely ever eat out, for at least 1 meal each day and we really spent time talking about everything, including our immediate and far futures.
Then we played Harry Potter Scene-It. I use the word "played" very loosely because it is more like i answered all the questions correctly and Kel lost by such an alarming amount it is embarrassing.
this may sound lame and boring to a lot of people... but it is exactly this that i have been looking forward to for so long. I am SO SO SO excited i cannot describe to get into some sort of a routine. I have loved the little things and it's those little things in life i am determined to enjoy and live for.
Next Blog post hopefully i will have some wedding pictures to put up and more boring mundane things about married life to post! Also some pictures of our very well put together townhouse!
Oh and we got a Sam's Club membership... BEST IDEA EVER! we are stocked up on groceries for a month and for the cheapest we have ever shopped!
